Grilling and Such
What I didn’t really think much about in regards to homeownership can pretty much be summed up into two words: time suckage. The list of to-dos has gotten quite extensive and planning a wedding sure doesn’t help! This weekend we knocked a few things off that list, including grill assembly!
Yay! The picture above is our lovely gas grill that was successfully completed by Paul after many previous attempts on both of our parts to complete this tedious project. This is what happens in trying to save money on buying the grill- cheap instructions.
So, on this freezing cold Memorial Day Paul & I had our first barbecue. We made chicken sausages and toasted whole wheat buns. Then, very typical of Sarah & Paul style dinner conversation we discussed gender implications around grilling. Why is it that men are more traditionally associated with grilling but not other types of food preparation? Discuss. :-)
